2013 Shtern reading

November 28, 2013 in Tel Aviv will be held the Fifth Shtern reading "State, society and religion in Israel: the need for change".

The Shtern reading –is an annual Israeli Forum with a "Russian accent ", dedicated to the memory of former MK Dr. Yuri Stern, a wonderful representative of the Russian-speaking community in Israel. One of the priorities of Yuri Stern was the pursuit of national unity on the basis of mutual understanding and compromise between different groups in Israeli society, support interethnic and interfaith dialogue.

Participants at the conference include Professor Larissa Remnick, Dr. Ze'ev Khanin, Dr. Sam Kliger (New York), Rabbi Gregory Kotler of the Reform movement, Judaism teacher Dana Pulver and others.
