April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development

On April 7-10, 2015 in Moscow, the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) supported by the World Bank will host the XVI April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development. The Conference Program Committee is chaired by Professor Evgeny Yasin.
The plenary sessions and special roundtables will feature senior Russian Government officials including representatives of the Presidential Administration, high-level representatives of the World Bank, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the CEOs of some of the largest Russian and international companies.

Special topics for the conference are:
• Institutions and Economic Growth
• Reasons for Reforms’ Success and Failure
• Global World: Integration or Disintegration?
• Demand for law: Factors and Dynamics

The plenary sessions, including selected honorary papers, sessions and roundtables, will be devoted (but not restricted) to the special issues of the Conference.
Sessions and roundtables on the problems of economic and social development will be held after the plenary sessions.
