Nobel Laurate Prof. Dan Shechtman of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and Aaron Mankovski, managing general partner at Pitango Venture Capital, will co-chair the conference, the statement said. “To continue to fuel the growth of high tech corporations, we must be training students for the future in that industry,” said Israel Sci-Tech Schools director general Zvi Peleg. “Today, that includes a broader curriculum of art, design and innovation, in addition to the basic skills.”

Friends of Israel Sci-Tech Schools is a US-based nonprofit organization that aims to support the 206 institutions and 100,000 students of the largest independent network of science and technology educational institutions in Israel, the statement said.
