Shmuel and Anat Harlap donate $180 million to Rabin Medical Center

The Rabin Medical Center announces that Anat and Dr. Shmuel Harlap have made the largest single donation to the Israeli healthcare system. The couple donated $180 million (NIS 602,712,785) to construct a new heart and brain center called The Tower of Hope, symbolizing the couple’s desire to help heal divisions within Israeli society.

The new facility, expected to open in early 2027, will serve all sectors of the Israeli public, “secular, religious, ultra-Orthodox, Muslim, Christian, Druze, and Circassian,” says Anat Harlap. “It will be a lighthouse of hope for all.”
