II International Conference for young scholars, graduate and postgraduate students “Population, Public Health and Development”.

Young scholars, graduate, postgraduate and undergraduate students are invited to participate in the II International Conference for young scholars, graduate and postgraduate students “Population, Public Health and Development ” organized by Department of Public administration and Institute of Demography National Research University Higher School of Economics.

Topics and research fields for discussion:
• Social and economic determinants and consequences of mortality and morbidity;
• Mortality and morbidity and economic development;
• New economic incentives and recourses for the public and private healthcare;
• Modern trends and tendencies in healthcare management;
• Medical rehabilitation development: directions, trends and mechanisms;
• Synergy of healthcare services and social care: international experience and it incorporation into Russian sphere;
• Healthy life style development and preventive health care;
• Social problems and humanitarian technologies in ageing population with high levels of disability and chronicle diseases;
• Demographic challenges and reaction on them ;
• Problems and perspectives of human potential development.

Students from different stages of education, scholars, teachers with interesting and original papers are welcomed. The authors should not be older than 35. Each paper should be written by no more than 3 authors. 1 applicant can send no more than 2 papers as author or co-author. The applications should be written either in English or in Russian.

The applications with the extended abstracts should be sent to the Organization committee (conferenceGMU@hse.ru) until 1st of March 2016. The decisions about participation are main no later than 1st of April. The application includes the short CV of the participant and extended abstract (Word format, 4 pages, Times New Roman – 12).

Three (3) best presentations in each session are honored by diplomas. All participants receive the certificates of participation.

The Conference participation is free of charge. The participants cover the accommodation and travel expenses by themselves.
