Paideia Project-Incubator 2012

With the support of the European Jewish Fund, the 2012 Paideia Project-Incubator will take place in Stockholm,
August 2-10, 2012.

Paideia - The European Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden is a non-denominational academic framework that was established in 2000 with funding from the Swedish government. Dedicated to the revival of Jewish culture in Europe, Paideia educates leaders for Europe - academicians, artists and community activists - towards fluency in the Jewish textual sources that have served as the wellsprings of Jewish civilization.

In renewing interpretation of Jewish text, Paideia is reviving a European Jewish voice long silenced by Communism and post-Holocaust trauma - a voice that can contribute to a culturally rich and pluralistic Europe.

The program will gather social innovators who want to take their vision for European Jewish culture from idea to reality. You will be joining a network of over 100 innovators that have been tutored through the Paideia Project-Incubator.

In a unique pan-European setting, the Incubator offers you an experienced international faculty and an intensive, effective studying program including lectures, workshops, peer support, individual mentoring, Jewish content counselling and networking – all aimed at promoting, guiding and advancing your project.

The Paideia Project-Incubator is tuition free and gives you:
• a pan-European network
• the tools and knowledge you need to get your project off the ground
• broadened Jewish cultural horizons
• experienced tutoring - from project conceptualization and developing Jewish content – to fundraising and proposal writing
