Admission:
A first decision about the admission will be made in Feb 2013. Selected candidates will be invited for a presentation and an interview to the MPI. The next round of presentations/interviews will take place on Mar 18th, 2013. Based on this, the final decision will be made and the applicants will be notified thereafter. General information and steps to be taken to get the PhD degree at one of the two universities in Munich: • information about the doctorate at the TUM
• information about the doctorate at the LMU
PhD students at the TUM have to teach laboratory courses or exercises for at least 2 semesters. Further details can be found at the TUM WWW page.
