Voucher Program for Hebrew Study

In accordance with Government decision number 2446 in the matter of "operating special programs during the year 2015 for encouraging immigration and optimal absorption for new immigrants from France, Belgium, and Ukraine," the Ministry of Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption is granting assistance vouchers to immigrants from those countries. The vouchers are for the purpose of learning Hebrew within the framework of private frameworks included in a database of institutions that is determined in advance.
If you made aliyah from Ukraine, Belgium, or France you can be eligible to receive this assistance for studying Hebrew using the voucher track, in addition to Hebrew study at a Ministry of Education ulpan, either before or following ulpan, or in place of study in an ulpan.

Who is Eligible?

• New immigrants from Ukraine, Belgium, and France who received new-immigrant status from 1/3/2015 to 31/12/2015.
• From the age of 18 and up on the date of submitting a request for a voucher and participation in the cost of Hebrew study.
• An eligible individual who utilized the benefit for Hebrew study through the voucher program and is then afterwards interested in studying in an ulpan program may do so.
• An eligible individual who utilized the benefit for study in ulpan aleph under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, and participated in all lessons as necessary, and is afterwards interested in also utilizing the benefit for studying using the Voucher Program may do so.
