Israeli startup Spot.IM raised $25 million
Spot.IM says it works with leading digital media publishers including Hearst, Sky Sports, Fox News, AOL, Uproxx, IFLScience, and US Magazine, among others. The company has raised some $60 million to date. “Our goal has always been to provide publishers with the ability to build a sustainable business organically through their content and community — not arbitrary clicks,” CEO Nadav Shoval told VentureBeat.
Spot.IM’s SaaS (software-as-a-service) platform features moderation tools, monetized advertising options, community hosting and product review pages, while supporting and encouraging live chats, and media interactions.
